Using with GarageBand

SimpleChord makes a great companion to GarageBand if you've got iLife '05 or higher. Here's how:

1. Create your progression. Or use one that's already made.
2. Export to MIDI. You can do this by selecting the progression and, from the file menu, choosing "Export" then "as Standard MIDI".
3. Import into GarageBand. If you've got a song open, drag the resulting MIDI file (and here's the trick) to the left side of the GarageBand window that lists the tracks. A new track will be created with your chord progression in it.
4. Enjoy. Play a melody on top, sing, add more cowbell, whatever!
