SimpleChord's main attraction is its capacity as a reference to chords. Looking up chords is fairly straightforward. Use the main window to select the root note and then the type of chord. The chord will display, and can be heard by pressing the 'play' button. Notes that are displayed in a lighter color are optional.
You can apply an inversion to the chord by using the arrow buttons at the bottom. Change the octave of the keyboard by using the octave control on the bottom.
The notes in the chord are spelled according to the spelling preferences. See 'Customizing SimpleChord' for more information.
