Creating a More Tasteful ShoveBox Icon

Since I released ShoveBox in August, a number of users have taken me to task on its menubar icon.

Up until now, it’s looked like this: Closed Opened

(The little box opens up when you drag importable data over it)

Many menu extras on Mac OS X use grayscale icons. But I reckoned ShoveBox’s wasn’t a problem because a few apps that I use had color menubar icons. But man do those look out-of-place on Leopard!

So I finally budged and drew a new one: Closed Opened

I’d considered a setting so users could choose which they prefer. But in the interest of avoiding preferences, I’ll probably make this the single icon for all new versions of ShoveBox.
