I just found you guys on MacHeist, and I’m stoked that one of your screen shots makes fun of Porter Square! Do you still have anyone in the Somerville area?

I used to live in the Boston area (East Somerville near Sullivan for a while, then East Cambridge near Lechmere).

Porter Square is pretty weird. I feel like there ought to be mole men at the bottom of those escalators.

I used to go to the Porter Sq Cafe for chili and ribs years ago…

Any chance there is or will be support for storing the Shovebox data file in a Dropbox folder? Hoping to use the same ShoveBox on the home and office computer. Thanks- Great App!

Hi, I got Shovebox through the latest Macheist and I’m testing it against Reinvented’s Together. So far, I’m liking Together more because when I add more than 1 .webloc or .webarchive to Shovebox, it hangs on the ‘Downloading’ dialog; clicking the ‘Cancel’ button results in a hard crash. Not to mention how overall slow Shovebox feels, 1-2 second hangs with every function; frustrating, to say the least.
Any chance of getting a performance/stability update in the near future to fix this?
I’m running a Macbook Pro, 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, SL 10.6.2.
    Thanks.

I agree with Rob. Being able to use Dropbox (or another solution) to sync Shovebox is essencial for all of us with multiple computers. Even more important than iPhone or IPad sync (and I also use both).

I hope to see it in the next release :)

Are we getting Shovebox 2.0 anytime soon? Features like automatic categories, rich text editing, drag and drop exporting, more control over the Quick Jot window appearance among others would be very appreciated.

Pretty sad that we are still at 1.7.6 :( Where’s 2.0 fellas? How’s things going?

    i like your app
one thing i would really like to see is getting quick access to a couple of specific notes.
i keep growing lists and find it a bit difficult to have to click my way to an already existing note in order to add to it.
i know this can probably done via a keyboard shortcut, but it would be nice to have this also accessible on the menu bar drop down thingy.

    thanks,
    stephan.

I love ShoveBox, and I hope there’s a version 2.0 coming. Times are a-changing, guys! For instance, I wish there were options to send a bookmark to Instapaper or ReadItLater, or to improve the comment feature of bookmarks. Or, to be able to tag items, not just file them into folders. Or export to PDF. Or sync notes with Simplenote. Or…well, you get the idea. :)
    Cady.
